CTC Announces New LG Solar Hands Free Car Kit that Speaks Caller Name
Co. Dublin, Ireland —Synchronises with your phonebook using NameAlert™ feature
Dublin; Monday, 1st March, 2010: Irish distributor CTC has announced a new solar energy, hands free mobile phone car kit which speaks the name of the person calling. The LG HFB-510 energy saving, solar car kit is available in O2 stores at €79 for the month of March.
The separate unit, which can be mounted on the windscreen, connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your mobile phone. The NameAlert™ feature synchronises with your phonebook* and tells you who is calling. One unit connects to up to two mobiles so it is ideal for couples or individuals. The package includes a car charger so you can also charge your phone as you drive.
The LG HFB-510 provides at least 16 hours talk time or 1100 hours standby time but in addition charges itself through solar energy. It powers up when you start the engine so you save on standby time when you are away from the car.
“This is an easy to use and set up, wireless, hands free car kit with the added benefit of solar energy, talking name alert and mobile charger,” commented Graham Doyle, Director, CTC Ireland.

Notes to the editor:
* NameAlert™ works with Phone Book Address Profile (PBAP) enabled phones. If the handset is not enabled with this function or the number is not stored in the phonebook the LG HFB-510 reads out the number calling.
