Dublin-based charity Peter McVerry Trust is teaming up with The Adventure Agency to organise an exciting new abseil event. This event will take place on Sunday, 25th April 2010 in the beautiful surroundings of Glenmalure Valley in the Wicklow Mountains.
You will abseil down a 50 metre sheer cliff face into the forest below so you will need a good head for heights, or maybe this is the time to face your fears!
If you think that sounds daunting, think of what it’s like to be homeless. More than 2000 people are homeless in Dublin – Peter McVerry Trust provides services and support to many of them.
Challenge yourself by taking part in this event and join us at Peter McVerry Trust in helping young homeless people who are facing huge challenges in their own lives.
This event is open to all ages and fitness levels.
Registration is now open for the Peter McVerry Trust abseil. Call Martina on 01 823 0776 or email abseil@pmvtrust.ie for your information pack. Places are limited so register early!
